Post-Judgment Interest Calculator (Australia)

From 1 July 2010, the method for calculating post judgment interest changed. Interest is now calculated using the Reserve Bank of Australia cash rate plus 6 percent.

This calculator should only be used for judgment debts that arise after 1 July 2010, when the updated rules came into effect. For judgment debts before 1 July 2010, the historical Schedule 5 Uniform Civil Procedure Rules rates must be applied for the period from the date of judgment up to 1 July 2010. Those historical rates are not included in this calculator.
