Kate Mura

Kate is a Certified Practising Accountant with a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), bringing a strong foundation in both accounting and financial advisory. Her early career included roles as a financial accountant, corporate treasurer, and assistant company secretary with Nine Network Australia Ltd, providing her with broad commercial and corporate experience.

Kate later held the role of Finance and Administration Manager at Luna Park during its re-opening in 1995, further strengthening her operational and financial management expertise. She transitioned into forensic accounting in 2004, joining the DB Forensic team and developing a specialised focus in litigation support and financial analysis.

As a specialist in forensic accounting, Kate provides support across a range of dispute matters, working with both plaintiffs and defendants. Her work involves the preparation of clear and well-supported reports, assisting legal advisers and clients in understanding complex financial issues.

In addition to her forensic expertise, Kate obtained her Financial Planning qualifications in 2009 and works closely with clients to help them achieve their financial objectives across the short, medium, and long term. She has a particular focus on empowering clients to take control of their financial position and make informed decisions about their future.​​
